The slope is regularly maintained, and artificial snowmaking is a matter of course. It is equipped with artificial lighting, so you can start looking forward to night skiing. You walk out of the hotel, put on your skis, and you are already skiing.

At the end of Biela púť, there is an interesting attraction, Twinliner. It is a kind of train that functions just like an elevator. Its carriage can hold up to 50 skiers and will transport you directly to the funitel, the cable car leading to the peak of Chopok. From Biela púť, you can also get to Luková, at an altitude of 1,670 meters above sea level. You will be transported there by a classic 4-seater chairlift, one of many in the entire resort.

Biela púť is the starting point for the entire ski resort, and every skier heading to the slopes of Chopok will pass through it. The slope itself is ideal for beginners; just choose a ski or snowboard school, and professionals will teach you all the secrets of every good skier in a few days.

There is probably no better location to stay for skiing in Jasná. There are many hotels for the demanding directly at Biela púť. Despite the fact that you will be at an altitude of over 1,100 meters above sea level in the middle of the mountains, you will not be bored. They lie directly on the main route between Ružomberok and Banská Bystrica. What do Donovaly offer? Up to 11 km of slopes, 1 chairlift, 1 combined chairlift with several cabins, and up to 14 lifts. The fact that the resort is focused on less experienced skiers is evidenced by the fact that approximately three-quarters of the entire resort are marked in blue, i.e., the easiest slopes.

You will spend time with children on the side south of the road, where the least demanding tracks are located. When you crave something steeper, the slopes on the north side of the road leading from Nová hoľa are for the more demanding. They are marked in red, and you will even find a 100-meter-long black section here. The combined cable car, together with the lift at the summit, ensures short queues, and you will be able to enjoy a descent on the longest slope in the resort, measuring up to 2,200 meters.

Since Donovaly is focused on families with children and people who want to have fun, you will find a children's Fun Park here, which is the largest in Central Europe. It offers slalom courses, fairy-tale characters, various obstacles for the little ones, and up to 9 conveyor belts. All this under the supervision of experienced instructors. The Riders Park is also popular, where every freerider will enjoy themselves. Thanks to a newly built slope, their total length has expanded to nearly 9 kilometers, with the longest descent measuring a full 2.5 kilometers, a figure that some smaller resorts don't reach even when combining all their slopes.

Štrbské Pleso strives to cater to the widest possible range of skiers. Red-marked, intermediate slopes dominate the area. With beginners and families in mind, a new blue slope was also built, making the beauty of the surrounding nature accessible to a broader audience. The ultimate highlight is skiing from Solisko, which offers a fascinating view of Štrbské pleso, Liptovská Mara, Kráľova hoľa, and the entire Podtatranská kotlina basin. A divine view indeed. And behind your back, the Tatras valleys and towering rocky peaks.

Children have been kept in mind too. You can entrust them to instructors at the ski schools. Right at the entrance to the resort, there are two of the total three ski lifts. These lifts serve the blue, least demanding slopes. For steeper slopes, you have to head higher up, but we guarantee it will be worth it. From the nearly 1.5 km long chairlift, fantastic views of the Roháče massif and Salatín open up. You will feel as if you were somewhere in the Alps. From the top station of the chairlift, an intermediate section leads down. In this section, there is also a nearly 900-meter long ski lift. At the end of the resort's longest slope, you can choose a less steep alternative or a challenging black slope.

The entire resort is regularly maintained and groomed. Natural snow is left only on the black section of the slope. Naturally, artificial snowmaking is available, thanks to which even mild frosts are enough to ensure plenty of snow in Zverovka – Spálená. On 5 kilometers of slopes, you won't have time to get bored.

Absolute beginners can learn to ski in the ski school or snowboard in the snowboard school. In Zverovka – Spálená, they truly think of everyone. Among the resort's other facilities, we can mention restaurants with quality cuisine or snack bars offering many quick specialties.

Accommodation options are also diverse. Despite the location high in the mountains, you have plenty to choose from. Right by the slope lies a tourist lodge, but extremely cozy cottages are also available. The ski resort is very clearly divided. In its lower part, you will find blue slopes intended for beginners. The middle part, called Generál, is intended for intermediate skiers. The upper part is dedicated to the best and most experienced skiers; you will find the steepest slope of the resort here in Lomnické sedlo pass. This slope is constantly groomed, but if you prefer and want to enjoy free terrain, the part of the resort called Francúzska mulda is intended for you.

The resort has been significantly renovated; new slopes as well as cable cars have been added. Its pride is the new 15-seater cable car, the same as the one you will find in the Jasná ski resort. You will certainly not be bored in the resort; almost 12 km of slopes for everyone are waiting for you. 7 cable cars will be at your service.

Spišská Magura forms a mountain ridge that stretches above the entire village of Ždiar and offers a true skiing paradise. In Ždiar Bachledova dolina - Jezersko, you will find a number of slopes of all difficulty levels. Most of the slopes, more than half, are blue, the least demanding. Therefore, Ždiar is extremely friendly to families with children and complete beginners.

However, even more advanced skiers will not be bored. Intermediate and the most demanding slopes are situated towards Jezersko. This ensures a natural separation of beginner skiers and the better ones. For this reason, no one will be delayed or get in anyone's way anywhere. The entire ski resort is located at an altitude of 820 – 1,160 meters above sea level. It should also be taken into account that there is much more snow in Ždiar than in the entire surrounding area. Nevertheless, the resort is equipped with an artificial snowmaking system, thanks to which the ski season is truly quite long.

In the resort, you will find 5 lifts and 2 chairlifts, with the total length of the slopes being almost 11 km. The longest ski track in the resort is marked in blue, and its length is an impressive 1,950 meters.

Ždiar and, above all, the Spišská Magura mountain range are famous for excellent conditions for cross-country skiing. This is proven by the presence of up to 19 km of cross-country ski tracks. The Bachledova dolina - Jezersko resort also offers other possibilities for activities. You can rent skis here or try it with a snowboard. Motor enthusiasts will not miss a ride on a powerful snowmobile. Snowtubing, a ride on inflatable tires down the slope, is also an experience. The resort is equipped to the highest possible standard. Almost 8 km of slopes feature an artificial snowmaking system, and 1.5 km has artificial lighting, allowing you to enjoy night skiing. For others, a whole spectrum of intermediate slopes and several black, most demanding sections are intended. This part is served by two ski lifts and a chairlift. And as if that were not enough, add another 10 km of groomed tracks for cross-country skiing, and you have the resort of your dreams.

The resort's greatest pride is its second-longest slope, where you can try out all possible inclines. It leads through blue, red, and black sections. Its length is an impressive almost 3 km, and riding it in one go requires a dose of strength and skill. Yes, that was only the second-longest slope. The absolute longest one is also suitable for beginners; it has a gentler incline and is up to 4 km long. Some ski resorts do not even reach that length, and here we are still talking about just one slope. Your comfort will be taken care of by 8 lifts and 2 chairlifts.

Artificial snowmaking, night skiing with a view of the illuminated Dolný Kubín at night, snack bars, ski schools, restaurants, various obstacles in the children's area, or a snowboard school are a matter of course. Kubínska hoľa is prepared for a large influx of skiers, and its capacity of up to 9000 visitors per hour is sufficient. The Snow Paradise Veľká Rača Oščadnica ski resort ranks among the most famous, especially in northwestern Slovakia. It lies in the heart of the Kysucké Beskydy mountains and promises the highest quality skiing every year.

You will find Veľká Rača Oščadnica at the very edge of Slovakia, just a few meters from the state border with Poland. The best access to the resort is via Čadca or Krásno nad Kysucou. Amidst the inaccessible and wild nature of the Kysuce region, a expansive ski resort stretches across altitudes from 640 to 1,050 meters above sea level. The summit of Veľká Rača itself, through which the state border runs, is situated almost 200 meters higher. The greatest advantage of the Snowparadise Veľká Rača resort is its size and layout across three interconnected skiing locations Dedovka, Marguška, and Lalíky. Slopes of all difficulty levels are available here. Everyone will enjoy great skiing.

More than 14 km of trails are available. Almost all slopes are covered with artificial snow and are regularly groomed. You will find 15 slopes here, including 7 blue (easy difficulty), 7 red (intermediate), and 1 black (difficult). Access to these trails is from the top station of the chairlift in Dedovka.

A new children's ski nursery, Snehové kráľovstvo, was also opened in the resort. It is located in the Dedovka area, between the Košariská 1 and Košariská 2 slopes. Children can try out a new magic carpet conveyor belt, two children's rope lifts, and enjoy skiing through a new fairy-tale obstacle course with figures. The new Račatrak snowcat transports children to the nursery from the top station of the Dedovka cable car. Diligent young skiers in the nursery are regularly visited by the mascot Macko Račko accompanied by children's songs.

The family-friendly Ski centrum Brezovica is located in the Orava region, in the foothill village of Brezovica, in the Tvrdošín district. Thanks to the fact that the Ski stredisko Čertovica STIV ski resort is located at a high altitude ranging between 1,238 – 1,381 meters above sea level, it cannot complain about a lack of snow. In the resort area, a dedicated space on the slope is also reserved for sledding. Children can gain their first experience on a children's slope with a 70m-long rope tow. Just a few kilometers south lies its brother, Dolný Smokovec. It became famous mainly for treating respiratory diseases in the local children's sanatorium. Beautiful surroundings and fresh air are the main prerequisites not only for treatment, but also for perfect skiing.

A small and inconspicuous ski resort is situated in the part of Dolný Smokovec with the poetic name Pod lesom. Its name is Greguskaski. It lies above the village of Nová Lesná, where you will find plenty of affordable accommodation options in private rentals.

The resort offers only one slope, but given its focus on complete beginners, even that is sufficient. It is of blue difficulty, the lowest category. Its length is 400 meters and it offers an elevation gain of exactly 50 meters. The entire resort sits at an altitude of 874 – 924 meters above sea level. Two ski lifts will take care of your comfort, helping you forget about long queues.

Despite the resort being really small, it offers an artificial snowmaking system. You won't have to worry about a lack of snow. There is also a ski school here. The slope is particularly suitable for those of you stepping onto skis for the very first time. An undeniable asset of this ski resort is the price of ski passes. If you are a beginner skier, it would be wasteful to pay dozens of euros for a skipass in a larger resort when you would spend the whole day learning on a single slope anyway.

In the area, you will find cross-country trails for enthusiasts of the white track. The environment of the Vysoké Tatry is generally extremely attractive and offers dozens, if not hundreds, of leisure opportunities. Whether it is a trip to the aforementioned Hrebienok, evening sledding, or a cable car ride to the peak of Lomnický štít. Alternatively, if you still haven't had enough of skiing, visit Starý Smokovec, Tatranská Lomnica, or Štrbské Pleso.

The longest slope is approximately one kilometer in length, and all slopes combined measure 6 km. The most popular is the slope with the simple name "Zjazdovka". It is of medium difficulty, and the vast majority of skiers will find something to enjoy here.

Fačkovské sedlo also offers something for connoisseurs, truly advanced skiers. Almost 40% of the slopes in the resort are black, meaning the most demanding ones. However, this section lacks artificial snowmaking and thus depends on natural snowfall. But when there is enough snow, you will enjoy a ride through virgin powder like out of a movie.

Fačkovské sedlo features artificial lighting, so you can head out onto the skis even after dark. A matter of course are snack bars or a ski and snowboard school. You will have the entire resort in the palm of your hand from the highest peak, Homôľka, with an altitude of 1,063 meters above sea level.

If you happen to get tired of skiing, Fačkovské sedlo offers plenty of other activities. For example, snowmobiles, cross-country skiing trails, sledding, or ski touring trips. Sports-minded people will certainly find their niche and forget about boredom.

Tourists will surely appreciate the location along the hiking trail Cesta hrdinov SNP. The nearby monument is also dedicated to the Slovak National Uprising. In case of a multi-day skiing trip, you will need some nice accommodation. You can fully soak up the mountain atmosphere in local mountain huts or at a sheep farm (salaš). Lyžiarske stredisko Fričkovce can be found in eastern Slovakia in the picturesque village of Fričkovce. In winter, the resort offers you two groomed slopes suitable especially for families with children and beginners. Your first steps will lead to a beautiful wooden church building, which is the pride and a representative of traditional Tatra architecture.

It is right here that you will find the station for the cable car to Hrebienok. It is exceptional because it is a funicular. Modern and fast, it replaced its older predecessor just a few years ago. Another alternative is a hiking trail or an asphalt road leading all the way up to Hrebienok, to an altitude of almost 1,300 meters above sea level.

Hrebienok is a tourist hub not only in winter, but also in summer. It serves as a starting point for hikes along the Tatranská magistrála trail, into Veľká studená dolina or Malá studená dolina. Almost directly at Hrebienok, you will find the well-known Bilíkova chata, and just a short distance further, Rainerova chata, Zamkovského chata, or Vodopády Studeného potoka. Pure natural beauty. And as if that were not enough, the majestic Slavkovský štít, which in the distant past was considered the highest Tatra peak, will tower directly above your head.

Even if hiking boots are not your favorite footwear, you won't be bored at Hrebienok either. Here you will find snowtubing, a ride down a snow trough on an inflatable tube. Many find riding mountain scooters or the new addition, mountain carts, attractive. In summer, you can enjoy the ride all the way down to Starý Smokovec. In winter, the road serves as a toboggan track. You can rent a sled, take the funicular up, and thus avoid the grueling pull up the hill. The toboggan track is equipped with artificial lighting, and night sledding is a unique experience you should definitely treat yourself to.

Skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts will also find good conditions prepared here, although operations at Hrebienok are always uncertain. The more demanding slope from Hrebienok at the foot of Slavkovský štít opens only very sporadically. The slope leading down to Starý Smokovec occasionally struggles with a lack of snow. You will certainly have fun at Hrebienok, but if you love skiing, try checking the snow conditions and plan a backup strategy for a nearby ski resort in the area.

The ski resort has a favorable northern orientation. Thanks to it, the snow lasts here for a really long time and the ski season does not end after a few weeks of operation. Perhaps the biggest advantage is the breathtaking view. Right in front of you during skiing, the majestic wall of the Západné Tatry will loom, while in the distance the peaks of the Vysoké Tatry will also outline themselves.

You will find one ski slope here, its length is 350 meters. Thus, it can attract primarily undemanding skiers or entire families with children. The slope is made as if for beginners, but also for more advanced skiers. It is marked in red.

In the Iľanovo Košútovo ski resort, you will find a restaurant where they will treat you to a wide variety of Slovak specialties. Meanwhile, you can enjoy a pair of red, intermediate slopes. These are approximately equal in length. The longer of them measures a straight 600 meters, making it the longest slope in the resort.

Despite the fact that the slopes in Jahodná are not among the longest, you do not have to worry about not getting enough skiing. The transport capacity in the resort is more than sufficient. You will find up to 7 ski lifts here, and basically every single slope is served by 2 lifts. You can thus ski to your heart's content.

Of course, you will find ski and snowboard equipment rental, a ski school not only for children, as well as a stylish restaurant and a fast food snack bar. The main slope is also blue, and even older people can learn to ski on it. Its length is 950 meters, and you do not have to worry about any part of it; the gradient is truly gentle and tailor-made for family skiing. There is usually plenty of snow in the Tatry, and the resort also has an artificial snowmaking system, so you can ski here even during the spring. The resort is situated at an altitude of 791 to 896 meters above sea level. Its gentle slope makes it ideal for novice skiers. They can look forward to three blue slopes with a total length of 1,700 meters. Jakubovany relies mainly on natural snow. However, given its location close to the Západné Tatry, snow is rarely an issue here. Two ski lifts, 300 meters and just over 500 meters long, take care of skier transportation. They have sufficient capacity, so you won't stand in line and can ski virtually without interruption.

The best thing about the Jakubovany Studená dolina ski resort, however, is its location, as you ski with views of the entire Nízke Tatry range, as well as the Baranec and Kriváň peaks. Jasenská dolina consists of two ski resorts. First, you will come across the Kašová resort, located right at the entrance of the valley. Here you will find a large-capacity parking lot where you can leave your car and head out for winter fun. The resort is located approximately 2.5 km from the village of Belá – Dulice, but a well-maintained road leads here.

What does Kašová offer? Snack bars, ski schools, rental shop, up to 7 km of cross-country skiing trails, and high-quality service. In short, everything you will need during your skiing trip. And now onto the main thing, the slopes. These are predominantly blue, which means the least demanding. There are only two sections where the slope is steeper. It is an ideal terrain for families with children and inexperienced skiers. Transport is handled by 6 ski lifts and 1 four-seater chairlift, so you can forget about long queues. The chairlift in particular has contributed to improving the skiing quality, and with a length of almost 650 meters, it is the resort's longest transport facility. The longest slope in this section is exactly 800 meters long. The entire resort is equipped with artificial snowmaking and is even fully illuminated. You will spend time on skis not only during the days, but during the evenings as well.

If you are a more demanding skier and the slopes of Kašová are not steep enough, continue along Jasenská dolina for about one more kilometer. This is where the Lehota resort is located. However, check in advance whether it is open, as there is only one 700-meter-long lift here and the resort does not have artificial snowmaking. You must therefore rely solely on natural snow. In favorable conditions, medium-difficulty slopes await you, the longest of which reaches up to 1,100 meters. This will be appreciated by more experienced skiers as well.

Between the two resorts, Lehota and Kašová, there are beautiful trails for cross-country skiers. Furthermore, the surrounding nature of Veľká Fatra directly invites you to explore it. The total length of the slope is approximately 1 km. It is intended mainly for advanced skiers. Its upper part is marked in black, which means the steepest incline and a challenge even for the best skiers. The lower part is marked in red and is of medium difficulty, where a wide range of skiers will come into their own. The advantage of the lift is that you can detach from it during the ride, thus avoiding the most demanding, black section at the top. For beginners, a short lift in the lower part of the resort is available.

Naturally, the resort features an artificial snowmaking system and a pleasant restaurant with a snack bar in the lower part of the resort. The cherry on top is the option of night skiing under artificial lighting. You truly have something to look forward to, as it is one of the highest quality slopes in the wider area offering this option.

You may have already heard of Pavčina Lehota. It is home to the longest mountain bobsleigh track in Slovakia, which attracts tourists mainly during the summer. In winter, the slopes above Pavčina Lehota become a sought-after ski resort.

The ski resort is located at an altitude ranging from 760 to 907 metres above sea level. The best thing about the Žiarce resort is the fact that it offers skiing for all difficulty levels. Here you will find 4 ski lifts, thanks to which you can forget about long lines and ski from morning to evening almost without a break.

The total length of the ski slopes is 1,130 metres. These are divided among all difficulty levels. In the lower section, there are two lifts intended exclusively for beginners. Easy blue slopes are available for them, where they can learn their first metres on skis under the supervision of ski instructors.

For everyone else, two additional lifts are available. The shorter one also offers the option of a descent along a blue slope, while the longer one is for more experienced skiers. The upper part of this slope is even designated black and, thanks to its incline, presents a challenge even for seasoned skiers.

Naturally, in the ski resort you will find a snack bar, a ski school, artificial snowmaking, and on certain days of the week, you even have the option of night skiing. What could be better after a good dinner than a few more hours of skiing on the slope?

Liptov offers many natural sights and attractions. One of the largest is just a stone's throw away from Pavčina Lehota. It is Demänovská dolina with Slovakia's most beautiful caves, Demänovská ľadová jaskyňa and Demänovská jaskyňa slobody.

Pavčina Lehota is also a popular starting point for more well-known ski resorts. During the tourist season, you will meet many other tourists here. Tále is a small village a few kilometers from Podbrezová. Located nearby is this ski resort, well known throughout the wider area. It is situated in a pleasant mountain setting, surrounded by green forests. You will breathe in fresh air, enjoy some sports, and, on top of that, spend pleasant moments with friends. Nothing could be better.

What can you look forward to? In addition to beautiful nature, 6 ski lifts await you, ensuring smooth operation. Tále is a popular ski resort, and its selection of slopes reflects that. You will find all difficulty levels here. Overall, however, Tále is geared more toward more experienced skiers. There is only one blue slope for beginners, and staying on a single slope all day might get boring. More experienced skiers, however, will enjoy themselves on several red slopes. A real highlight is the black section. Black, the color of death, signifies a slope for truly advanced skiers.

In total, Tále offers 2.8 km of slopes. All are equipped with an artificial snowmaking system and will provide plenty of snow even during a milder winter.

You probably won't get enough of such a perfect ski trip. And you don't have to. After the lifts turn off in the afternoon, drop by a good restaurant for dinner, have a hot grog, and jump right back into your ski boots. Tále offers up to 1.5 km of illuminated slopes where you can enjoy night skiing to your heart's content.

Tále is famous for its golf course. During snow-free periods, it is among the biggest attractions. However, it is also popular in winter. When there is enough snow, you will find groomed cross-country skiing trails here with a total length of up to 6.5 km.

Snack bars, a restaurant, and a ski school are a matter of course. You can also have fun in ways other than on skis, for instance, with snowtubing, riding down the slope on inflatable tubes. You don't even need to bring skis with you; you can rent them right on-site.

Horehronie is full of points of interest. Besides golf, you can take a hike to peaks like Ďumbier, for example. For lovers of underground worlds, a visit to the Jaskyňa Mŕtvych netopierov cave will be a perfect treat. The southern side of the Nízke Tatry offers more adventures than might seem at first glance.

For other skiers, a relatively large ski resort awaits; by our standards, 8 km of slopes is a respectable figure. You will find a modern chairlift here, along with 5 other ski lifts. The difficulty of the slopes is designed very reasonably, with the easiest blue and moderately difficult red trails in approximate balance. On the longest slope, you will enjoy a descent approximately 2 kilometers long, which will delight even more demanding skiers. Artificial snowmaking is a matter of course, even though just a few years ago, "Martinky" had to make do with only natural snow.

A snowboard park, buffets, and bars are also available to you here, where you can warm up with a good grog. We repeatedly draw your attention to the beautiful nature. You will see two-meter-high snowdrifts and trees laden with heaps of snow—just like in old films—only in a few places these days. At Martinské hole, it is a common phenomenon.

Transport accessibility, beautiful nature, and excellent skiing conditions are the main advantages of the resort. You will certainly want to spend more days here and discover not only the official slopes but also the beautifully hidden terrain. Therefore, set aside several days that you can spend in one of the many cottages directly by the slopes. Ski centrum Opalisko spans an altitude ranging from 710 to 950 metres above sea level. It is located directly above the village of Závažná Poruba. The Čertovica ski resort is one of the larger resorts. It should be said that beginner skiers should look elsewhere instead. You will find only a single blue, least demanding slope here. The other slopes are intended for intermediate and advanced skiers who will truly enjoy themselves here. They will find approximately 12 km of slopes, 5 ski lifts, and a variety of hills. These are primarily red, meaning they are intended for the widest range of intermediate skiers. However, even the best skiers will find plenty to enjoy, with several black sections prepared for them.

The Čertovica ski resort offers skiing throughout the entire winter. The snow cover remains on its slopes from mid-December until mid-April. Levočské vrchy are relatively rich in snow, thanks to which skiing here lasts until the beginning of spring. The altitude of the resort is 634 to 876 meters above sea level. Here you will find 2 slopes designed for beginners, 1 intermediate slope, and 1 black, the most demanding slope. The slopes of this ski resort are suitable for the widest spectrum of skiers. Beginners can take advantage of the services of a ski kindergarten or a school with qualified instructors. With friends, you can enjoy the intermediate slope or the black one, which is a real challenge even for the best skiers.

Ski Centre Levoča offers approximately 3 km of slopes served by 4 ski lifts. One of them serves the purposes of instruction in the ski kindergarten. Ski Šachtičky is situated at an altitude of 802 to 1,102 meters above sea level. So prepare for a harsh winter and, what is even better, a beautiful panoramic view. That will be the icing on the cake of your perfect skiing experience. A total of five ski lifts ensure that you ski more than you wait in line. The total capacity of the resort is almost 3,000 skiers per hour. Šachtičky is a suitable ski resort even for a multi-day winter vacation due to the total length of the slopes. It reaches more than 10 km, which ranks Šachtičky among the larger Slovak ski resorts.

Just as great as all 9 slopes in the resort are the additional services. You surely follow the weather forecast. You may have noticed that the coldest temperatures are regularly recorded in Orava, specifically in Oravská Lesná. They know biting frosts very well here, and more importantly, the Orava Snow ski resort is located here. What does this freezing weather imply? Lots of snow. And therefore, great skiing.

The village of Oravská Lesná lies on the Slovak-Polish border, almost right at the frontier. You will find it west of Námestovo, a town on the edge of the Oravská priehrada reservoir. A short distance from Oravská Lesná, in the heart of the Oravské Beskydy mountains, a pleasant ski resort awaits you, where you will spend many unique moments. The local slopes are wide, always perfectly prepared. Of course, you will also find an artificial snowmaking system here, thanks to which the ski season is much longer.

The location in the north of Slovensko guarantees plenty of snow. Spacious slopes ensure that you will not encounter any "congestion" and you will always have enough room during your ride. Orava Snow boasts a new chairlift, seconded by four ski lifts.

Despite not having the largest number of transport facilities, they are able to service up to 8 kilometers of slopes. Almost 4000 skiers can ski here comfortably, which is a sufficient capacity. An interesting feature of the Orava Snow ski resort is the presence of slopes of all difficulty levels. The resort has two parts, Lehotská and Kohútik. From Lehotská, there are mainly blue, the least demanding slopes, but also one medium-difficulty one. This part is especially suitable for families with children, beginner skiers, or snowboarders. A separate area for a snowboarding park has been built for them. Kohútik is for more advanced skiers. There are several alternatives for the descent. You can use a slope with natural snow, where you will enjoy fresh powder. More experienced skiers will certainly appreciate the presence of a black slope, or rather a part of it. The steepest section makes up about half of the kilometer-long descent.

The Orava Snow ski resort also offers plenty of additional services that can make moments off the slopes more pleasant. These include a ski school, service, snowtubing, snack bars, wellness centers, or lounge chairs where you can do nothing and catch a tan thanks to the sharp winter sun.
