Turiec is one of the Slovak regions and tourism regions. Turiec is a protected area, a national nature reserve, in the basin of the Turiec River, whose aim is to protect the natural character of the watercourse with preserved water and wetland ecosystems in the Turčianska basin in the districts of Martin and Turčianske Teplice. In the Turčianska basin you will find the two mountain ranges of Mala and Veľká Fatra, which offer many beautiful hiking trails and views of the surrounding area.

The town was cozy, quiet and picturesque, as we wished. It has a small shop (we ended up shopping groceries in Banska Bystrica though), a tiny playground a main square with horloge, a restaurant and a “Historic school” offering some activities for older kids. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and offers many possibilities for easy hikes.

Nizne Revuce leży najbliżej szlaku na Rakytow oraz ferraty. W zimie są tu na miejscu stoki narciarskie z wyciągami. Wioska cicha leżąca na uboczu, ale poza sklepem spożywczym nie ma tu nic więcej.

W Niżnej Revucy nie ma żadnej gastronomii. Trzeba pojechać do okolicznych wiosek na obiad lub kolację, jeżeli checemy zjeść na zewnątrz.

Beautiful setting, loads to do, stream at the end of the chalet, perfect location for mushroom picking - we found loads. Amazing place for hiking. We will definitely be back.

The location is exactly as it is advertised, or even better if I can say, place was neat, with all listed adjustments and equipment. It is a perfect place to visit as a group of people to have private space to spend time together - it is quiet, spacious, and sauna, jacuzzi and playing room are just perfect complementations! Worth noticing that the communication in general and ease of contact with owner are great, always responding fast clarifying or answering the questions!

A perfect place in the forest, with everything you might need and want during your vacation. Dasa is very kind, caring and did everything to make the place homey and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the visit of dears and a fox.

We are a family with s small child (2yrs old) and were staying in this cottage (or rather a house) together with a friend. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, the garden with sun beds and an the outdoor bathtub, and the espresso machine, of course. The main bedroom on the ground floor was cool and spacious, so nice to sleep on hot days. The other bedroom was upstairs. The Wi-Fi also worked well (this was important especially, because the cell phone coverage was poor around the house). Our son also found some interesting toys to play with and books to “read”. The landlord was present at our arrival to welcome us and showed us everything. We did not really miss anything (maybe something to whip cream, but that also tells you that the place was really well equipped, since everything else was there).
