Very little visual material was preserved, as members of the Verejná bezpečnosť (Public Security) confiscated camera films from the vacationers who were at the lake at that time. This exceptionally tragic event is described very realistically in the book "Katastrofa letu 001 na Zlatých pieskoch" (The Disaster of Flight 001 at Zlaté piesky).
