ZOO Kontakt Liptovský Mikuláš is a place where visitors can experience direct contact with various animal species. Since its founding, the Závažná Poruba wild game park has gradually expanded into a fenced game enclosure roughly 900 meters wide. The animals have a free-roaming area and are regularly provided with fresh grass. Currently, it is home to approximately 20 fallow deer, 3 burly red deer, and several mouflons.

You can observe the forest wildlife through the fence, and if you are lucky, you might even get to pet some of them. If you have a spare apple or carrot at home, their sweet tooth will certainly not resist. But beware, animals must not be fed bread, pastries, or any flour products. This causes health issues for the game, often leading to their death. The owner of the enclosure therefore asks visitors to respect this prohibition.
