The resort belongs to a nearby family guesthouse. The owners take exemplary care of it, and even though it does not offer dozens of kilometers of slopes or the most modern cable cars, you will love coming back. In almost the entire surrounding area, you will find nothing better for your children. The blue-marked slopes are suitable mainly for beginners. They are served by 3 ski lifts, which is sufficient for a smaller resort. You will not wait long in line for a lift and might end up skiing even more than elsewhere. The total length of all slopes is nearly 1 kilometer.

Quantity is not what matters, quality is. Even in the smaller Ski centrum Strachan, you will find a modern artificial snowmaking system and lighting for evening skiing. From the slopes of Spišská Magura, where the resort is located, you will enjoy a unique view of the entire Belianske Tatry. They will ski, run, jump, in short, have fun.

If you tire of downhill skiing, try cross-country skiing. The ridge of Spišská Magura features the most beautiful trails in the entire area. Parking at the resort is free, and there is even a ski bus operating here. If you stay in the adjacent wellness guesthouse, prepare yourself for other pleasant gestures, such as discounts on ski passes or even evening skiing completely free of charge.

Ždiar is a typical village with folk architecture, living off tourism. You can choose accommodation in the nearby guesthouse belonging to the resort or in one of the many others in the village. There are dozens of them, as well as private accommodations in family houses. You will find a hotel, a tourist hostel, and cottages here. In short, everything you could possibly wish for.
