On the spacious slope, you can choose to ride to the top on one of the 2 button ski lifts and smoothly ski down the uncrowded slope. The elevation gain is 80 m and the length of the slope is approximately 500 m.

The offer of this ski resort includes the option to enjoy skiing or snowboarding even under artificial lighting. The Látky – Kočanda ski resort offers its visitors the possibility of evening skiing. The slopes of the resort are groomed by a snowcat and, in case of poorer weather conditions, covered with artificial snow. If you are interested in skiing safely but are missing part of your equipment, walk to the resort located 1 km away, where a sports equipment rental and shop are available. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will also be pleased, as maintained cross-country skiing trails are located nearby. The resort staff also tries to attract skiers with interesting programs or festivities that make this type of sports activity even more enjoyable.

If you feel like exploring the surroundings, put on your hiking boots and set out on a hike to the top of Poľana above Detva. Right here, you will enjoy beautiful views and burn off the extra pounds gained during the winter months. If you prefer walking tours, Vodopád Bystré waterfall is the right place to go on a trip. You can also take beautiful photographs from the observation deck of the Rozhľadňa na Jasenine lookout tower. Views reach as far as the nearby mountain ranges in Hungary.
