Kúpele Sklené Teplice is a therapeutic thermal spa that ranks among the oldest in Slovakia. It is a European unique phenomenon where the water gushes directly under the cave. Its temperature is 42 °C. Until the end of the 17th century, their owners were various feudal lords, after which the spa became state property. Thanks to the management of the Mining Office in Banská Štiavnica, the construction of spa houses took place. Subsequently, the gushing mineral springs also began to be used for therapeutic purposes. There were 14 springs, each with its own name, 7 of which are currently used.

It has a high yield of 50 l/s and ranks among the most abundant Slovak springs. The thermal, 48.5 °C hot mineral water in it is sulfate-carbonate, calcium-magnesium.
