Vyšný Kubín played a very important role on the path of his life and poetic work. In Básnické prviesenky by Jozef Zbranský (Jozef Zbranský was one of his pseudonyms), he expresses love for his native village, Vyšný Kubín.

Another part of the exhibition is dedicated to prominent figures who were significantly connected with the village during their lives. Margita Figuli, who was born in the same house as Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav, also has her honorable place here. Another interesting fact about this well-known Slovak writer is that she was a direct descendant of Jan Amos Komenský. The last part of the exhibition is devoted to the annals, history, and development of the village of Vyšný Kubín, which belongs to the oldest villages in Orava. You can find this historical building belonging to the Vyšný Kubín municipal office in the wider center of the village.
