Bikepark Paseky was opened in 2017, when the operation of the chairlift in this area was launched for the summer season as well. Together with your bicycle, it will comfortably transport you to the start of your adrenaline ride. Two separate trails begin at its top. Enduro trail with an elevation gain of 380 m and a length of 2,300 m leads through the more forested part of the terrain on the right. The more direct Downhill trail has an elevation gain of 380 m and a length of 1,750 m.

For the youngest adrenaline cyclists and beginner athletes, a third, easiest downhill trail was added here in 2019. Funny Flow Trail has a length of 400 m and an elevation gain of 65 m. The Leitner ski lift will take you to its starting point. Thanks to this feature, Bikepark Paseky has also become a popular spot for families with older children spending their summer holiday in Terchová. However, athletes and groups of young people have been coming here with enthusiasm for years, finding a combination of their favorite downhill cycling and mountain hiking in this region. And when you have enjoyed a generous dose of adrenaline in the bike park to your heart's content, you can relax pleasantly over a cup of your favorite drink at Café bar Paseky. Meanwhile, the adjacent playground will take care of entertainment for your little ones.

If you are planning a holiday in Terchová this year, be sure to bring your bicycle with you. And after a generous dose of adrenaline in Bikepark Paseky, do not miss a walk to Rozhľadňa Terchovské srdce, from which you will have not only the village itself but also the adjacent mountain areas in the palm of your hand. Rozprávkový les Nezbudská Lúčka

Rozprávkový les Nezbudská Lúčka

Nezbudská Lúčka

Perhaps almost all of us grew up on fairy tales. Finally, there is a place where you can see your favorite fairy tale characters live and exactly as you remember them from your childhood. Take your little ones and take a trip to the picturesque village of Nezbudská Lúčka, which lies on the edge of the Malá Fatra mountain range. Awaiting you here is Rozprávkový les, inhabited by the 3 Little Pigs, Maťko and Kubko, the wolf that ate the grandmother, Grandpa Večerníček, and naturally the sleeping beauty, Sleeping Beauty (Šípková Ruženka).

Right at the entrance, you will be greeted by a gate behind which stands a cute caterpillar wearing sneakers and holding a broom in its hand. Rozprávkový les consists of winding paved paths lined with installed statues of fairy tale characters and their little houses. Children's eyes will light up at the sight of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the gingerbread house inhabited by Hansel and Gretel (Janko a Marienka), or the House on Chicken Legs (Domček na stračej nôžke).

During your walk through the forest, you certainly won't miss the angry alarm clock, the egg that went on a wander (Vajce, ktoré išlo na vandrovku), a fairy-tale toadstool, a mouse sleeping in a matchbox, or the stork postman. In addition to static statues, you will also meet those that move, sing, or dance. Among the so-called entertainers are cats singing folk songs, dogs singing hits by Karel Gott, and singing crocodiles and penguins hidden in a dark tunnel.

Among the newest inhabitants of the magical forest is the so-called Koroňák, who looks like a small devilish troll with a pitchfork. Rozprávkový les is 1 km long and is not yet fully completed. At its end, Krtko (Little Mole) and a meadow await you, featuring more great attractions for children. Little kids can play on the children's playground equipped with swings, a slide, a sandbox, and two trampolines.

During the summer season, you will find merry-go-rounds, an inflatable bouncy castle, as well as souvenir stalls and all kinds of treats. You can have a tasty lunch in the local traditional cottage (koliba), which boasts a fantastic summer terrace with original wooden seating. From here, you will be treated to a magnificent view of Hrad Strečno castle.

After lunch, you can stop by the animals, which will bring joy especially to your little ones. Goats, sheep, rabbits, geese, mini pigs, a pony, a llama, and even a peacock roam freely in the enclosure. You will also find a squirrel and parrots here, though these are kept in a cage.

After a demanding yet all the more wonderful day, stay in a local guesthouse or cottage. Nezbudská Lúčka is a great starting point from which you can plan your trips around the surroundings. If you love nature, take a hike to Malý Kriváň or discover the ruins of Starý hrad castle. A romantic walk around Asfaltové jazero will surely hit the spot as well.
