It extends over the massif of the same name, the highest point of which is Kozí vrch. And since it was birches (brezy) that took root here first, this area also received its fitting name. Today, beeches, hornbeams, maples, elms, and spruces also grow here. Part of the forest park is also the so-called Čerešňový sad. It is located near Trenčiansky hrad castle and was once covered only with sweet and sour cherries. Currently, birches and other trees also occur among the original growth.
