But where? 9 pools, 5 water slides, and all of this in the beautiful greenery of a vast forest park. That is Thermalpark Veľký Meder.

Where can you find all this? Just 68 kilometers from Bratislava and a short distance from the Hungarian border lies the small town of Veľký Meder with a long spa history. Thermal springs were already here almost 1000 years ago. They are fully at your disposal to this day.

You can experience the beneficial effects of the thermal water in the indoor or outdoor part of the complex. The indoor section has 6 pools, with water temperatures ranging from 30 °C to 37 °C. The dominant feature of the indoor area is the swimming pool with an irregular shape. It is suitable not only for swimming but also for pleasant relaxation. Inside it, there is a pearl bath that will take perfect care of ensuring you are completely relaxed and indulging in the bubbles. The little ones have not been forgotten either. Children have their own circular children's pool where they definitely won't get bored with their friends. Water jets or a slide will captivate every little swimmer. This complex also includes a semi-covered seating pool. It has the warmest water of all the pools, and one-third of it is covered. You can fully enjoy the effects of the warm thermal water here. In winter, you can enjoy the unique feeling of admiring the frosty world around you from the pleasantly warm water. You will also relax in the hydromassage pool with water jets and waterfalls. The whole family will have fun in the unique family pool. A complete water playground awaits you and your family here. Water cannons, slides, waterfalls, or an unexpected surprise in the form of a 500-liter bucket of water that ends up on your head – you will experience that only here. Fans of water slides will also enjoy themselves. In the indoor section, there are 2 modern water slides with light effects, each of them nearly 70 meters long. Riding them is truly not only a feast for the eyes but also a great experience.

In the outdoor part, you will find 3 pools, with temperatures ranging from 25 °C to 30 °C. You can have a good swim in the 50-meter-long swimming pool. The Italian pool is used for pleasant relaxation, and one part of it serves as a landing area for water slides. Children can frolic in their own pool, and a children's snake slide is also available to them here. In addition to this children's slide, there are 2 more outside. Kamikaze will please speed enthusiasts, and Spiro, at nearly 100 meters in length, is the longest in the entire park.

In addition to the pools and slides, you can also use the local wellness center. You can choose from various types of saunas: infrared, steam, herbal, or Finnish. You will find out for yourself which one is ideal for you. You can also try magnetotherapy, light therapy, thermotherapy, acupressure, or massages. You will also relax in the salt mine, visit a beauty salon, or exercise in aqua aerobics. In case you get hungry or thirsty, you never have to go far. Outdoor buffets, restaurants, a café, and a bar near the pools will prepare everything you are currently craving. Your little ones will also spend long moments at the Hrad orliaka morského (White-tailed Eagle Castle) playground. The second playground has similar equipment, but it boasts the name Korytnačí hrad (Turtle Castle).
