Despite being located on the premises of the Slovenský inštitút mládeže Iuventa, it is also open to the general public. Swimming is one of the sports in which all muscle groups are evenly engaged and the whole body is exercised. Do something for your health. Put on your swimsuit and hop into the pool!
At the swimming hall, you can swim in a 25 m long swimming pool with a water depth ranging from 1.5 meters to 4 meters. The pool is divided into 6 swimming lanes, with each lane featuring a diving board. The water temperature is 26 °C. During your stay at the swimming pool, experienced lifeguards take care of your safety.
In addition to swimming, you can also relax wonderfully in the Finnish sauna with a maximum capacity of 10 people. Did you know that regular sauna sessions have a positive effect on the circulatory, cardiovascular, and immune systems? It is proven to alleviate the symptoms of psoriasis and benefit the treatment of allergies and asthma. Moreover, it has a beneficial and relaxing effect on the mind. After staying in the sauna, do not forget to cool down with a cold shower.
The pool is also used by students and swimming clubs, so always book your visit to the pool and sauna in advance by phone. Parking is provided right in front of the Iuventa building. After your time at the pool, stay in "Karlovka" and make your day pleasant at the Botanická záhrada botanical garden and the Zoologická záhrada zoo. From there, move to Staré Mesto and soak up the exceptional atmosphere of this historical part of Bratislava. Sample delicious specialties offered by local restaurants.
