WHAT WE RECOMMEND TO VISIT During your stay, we recommend visiting the most beautiful places nearby: Chopok and Jasná – skiing, cable cars, hiking and stunning views all year round Tále – perfect for walks, relaxation, golf and peaceful nature Bystrá Cave – beautiful stalactite cave, great for families and rainy days Mýto pod Ďumbierom – skiing, bike park and family activities Ďumbier – the highest peak of the Low Tatras with amazing views Dedečkova chata – a popular mountain hut for hiking and relaxing Pohanské – giant bench – a unique viewpoint and photo spot Squirrel meadow – a unique place where you can see ground squirrels up close (great for kids) Car museum – ideal for families and car enthusiasts Banská Bystrica – historic city centre, restaurants and shopping All these places are within a short distance from our accommodation. The Donovaly region lies between the Low Tatras and the Veľká Fatra mountains, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers, hiking enthusiasts, and winter sports. We recommend visiting the historic town of Banská Bystrica, known for its charming square, restaurants, and cultural landmarks. A trip to the picturesque village of Špania Dolina is also worth it, famous for its mining history and unique architecture. Nature lovers can explore Harmanec Cave or enjoy hiking to nearby peaks such as Veľká Chochuľa or Kozí chrbát. There are many interesting and still underappreciated places in Hont. In the nearby village of Bzovík you will find a fortified monastery, which is worth a visit in any weather and season. In the village of Čabradský Vrbovok there are the ruins of the Čabraď castle. Several villages in the vicinity offer experiential views through their lookout towers. In the town of Krupina you will find cafes, restaurants, a museum, unique underground passages, the Vartovka watchtower and a swimming pool. There is also a small thermal swimming pool in the region.

The location is exactly as it is advertised, or even better if I can say, place was neat, with all listed adjustments and equipment. It is a perfect place to visit as a group of people to have private space to spend time together - it is quiet, spacious, and sauna, jacuzzi and playing room are just perfect complementations! Worth noticing that the communication in general and ease of contact with owner are great, always responding fast clarifying or answering the questions!
