Kúpele Nimnica spa is located at an altitude of 300 m a.s.l., in the valley of the Váh river, between the towns of Púchov and Považská Bystrica. Analyses and surveys were conducted to determine its composition. As workers continued to construct the Nosická vodná nádrž reservoir, they drank the gushing water. Even then, its healing effects were discovered, which water analyses only confirmed. The water has a beneficial effect both externally and internally. And although the spa has been operating for only a "few" years (since 1959) compared to older Slovak mainstays, it has rightfully earned its place as a true healing location from which people leave healthier, more energetic, and happier.
