The Donovaly region lies between the Low Tatras and the Veľká Fatra mountains, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers, hiking enthusiasts, and winter sports. We recommend visiting the historic town of Banská Bystrica, known for its charming square, restaurants, and cultural landmarks. A trip to the picturesque village of Špania Dolina is also worth it, famous for its mining history and unique architecture. Nature lovers can explore Harmanec Cave or enjoy hiking to nearby peaks such as Veľká Chochuľa or Kozí chrbát. The region also offers great opportunities for cycling, wellness, and relaxation in nature. Our guests like the peaceful atmosphere and excellent, strategic location near the most sought-after attractions of Liptovská Ondrašová the most. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, ideal for relaxation, but at the same time offers quick access to a variety of trips and experiences. In the vicinity there is the Tatralandia Aquapark (approx. 2 km), Liptovská Mara (approx. 5 km) or Demänovská Cave of Freedom (approx. 13 km). Lovers of winter sports and mountain hiking will appreciate the easy access to the largest ski resort in Slovakia, Jasná – Chopok (approx. 15 km). Families with children will enjoy attractions such as ZOO Kontakt near Tatralandia or Mini Slovakia in Liptovský Ján with models of famous Slovak monuments. The surroundings are also ideal for hiking, cycling and walks in nature. It is the combination of peace, nature and proximity to the main attractions that makes Liptovská Ondrašová a place where guests can enjoy an active program and a well-deserved rest.

Cosy atmosphere, traditional wooden design and peaceful surroundings. Comfortable and well equipped, It has a lovely homely feel while still offering all the modern conveniences you would expect. Wonderful Hosts - One of the highlights of our stay was the hosts themselves. They were genuinely lovely people: warm, friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. It was clear that they take great pride in both their chalet and the experience they provide for their guests

Dakujeme, bolo uzasne, ubytovanie top, nic nam nechybalo, prostredie a poloha idealna, cena fajn, velmi mili a ustretovi majitelia, akurat trosku internet nestihal pri tom napore ale toto nie je ziaden problem.

Super house for 7 guests. All the facilities inside - 3 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, super-comfortable beds and pillows, fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, dishwasher machine, microwave, fridge....) Supermarket Kaufland - 3 min on feet.

Chata u Rybára – a wonderful family holiday ❤️ The surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and very pleasant. The cottage was perfectly clean and fully prepared – fresh, nicely scented bedding and everything ready for our arrival. We immediately felt at home. We also appreciated the TV and internet, which made the kids happy 🙂 The Makov ski resort is very close and pleasantly surprised us – it still keeps a friendly, non-commercial atmosphere (nothing like the crowded Jasná). Prices are still very reasonable, which is rare nowadays. Another big plus was the ski equipment rental nearby and a lovely detail – at the rest area after skiing there were two large tea boilers where you could pour yourself hot tea for free and relax for a while. Little things like this make the stay special. The cottage had everything we needed: gas cooking, fridge, microwave – everything worked perfectly. Heating with wood in the fireplace was a great experience for our 17-year-old son; he really enjoyed it and it created a lovely family atmosphere. It was a perfect holiday for our family and we definitely recommend it 👍

Nice and clean house, the floor heating was very comfortable. Good for groups as there are 3 bathrooms. Very well equipped kitchen. Host is welcoming and helpful.

velmi prijemna komunikacia s majitelkou. Chata utulna, kompletne vybavena, vhodna na vsetky vekove kategorie. Hry a hracky pre deti v chate ako aj na zahrade. Moznost aj v dazdi si opekat. Tiche miesto v krasnej prirode, ako stvorene na prezitie vikendu s rodinkou.
