Športovo-rekreačný areál Barnova rika in Zemplínske Hámre represents a popular relaxation center that combines summer swimming with active movement in the heart of nature under the Vihorlat mountains.
The complex is located in the village of Zemplínske Hámre, in the district of Snina, in a picturesque setting at the foot of the Vihorlatské vrchy mountains. It was put into operation in 2009 and has since served as the main recreational zone for local residents as well as tourists coming to the protected landscape area. The main attraction is the summer swimming pool area, which features one swimming pool measuring 25 x 12.5 meters with a depth of 1.25 meters. For the youngest visitors, a children's pool with a diameter of 6 meters and a water slide is available, ensuring safe fun in the water. In addition to the water areas, the complex includes grassy areas designated for sunbathing and relaxation, as well as designated spots with fire pits for barbecuing or cooking goulash. The sports area of the complex is complemented by a multifunctional playground with artificial grass, which can be used for various team games upon prior reservation. The entire complex is designed to provide comfortable facilities, including changing cabins, showers, and sanitary facilities.

Located directly in the village is Múzeum Zemplínske Hámre, which documents the mining and ironmaking history of the region, and Hámorský náučný chodník educational trail starts here. For more energetic hikers, the complex serves as a starting point for the ascent to the dominant landmark of the area – Sninský kameň, from where it is possible to continue to the mountain lake Morské oko. Nearby in the town of Snina, you can also visit the recreational area Sninské rybníky with a bio-swimming pool.
