WHAT WE RECOMMEND TO VISIT During your stay, we recommend visiting the most beautiful places nearby: Chopok and Jasná – skiing, cable cars, hiking and stunning views all year round Tále – perfect for walks, relaxation, golf and peaceful nature Bystrá Cave – beautiful stalactite cave, great for families and rainy days Mýto pod Ďumbierom – skiing, bike park and family activities Ďumbier – the highest peak of the Low Tatras with amazing views Dedečkova chata – a popular mountain hut for hiking and relaxing Pohanské – giant bench – a unique viewpoint and photo spot Squirrel meadow – a unique place where you can see ground squirrels up close (great for kids) Car museum – ideal for families and car enthusiasts Banská Bystrica – historic city centre, restaurants and shopping All these places are within a short distance from our accommodation. The Donovaly region lies between the Low Tatras and the Veľká Fatra mountains, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers, hiking enthusiasts, and winter sports. We recommend visiting the historic town of Banská Bystrica, known for its charming square, restaurants, and cultural landmarks. A trip to the picturesque village of Špania Dolina is also worth it, famous for its mining history and unique architecture. Nature lovers can explore Harmanec Cave or enjoy hiking to nearby peaks such as Veľká Chochuľa or Kozí chrbát. The region also offers great opportunities for cycling, wellness, and relaxation in nature. Donovaly and its surroundings are a perfect choice for both active holidays and peaceful mountain getaways all year round.

Our guests like the peaceful atmosphere and excellent, strategic location near the most sought-after attractions of Liptovská Ondrašová the most. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, ideal for relaxation, but at the same time offers quick access to a variety of trips and experiences. In the vicinity there is the Tatralandia Aquapark (approx. 2 km), Liptovská Mara (approx. 5 km) or Demänovská Cave of Freedom (approx. 13 km). Lovers of winter sports and mountain hiking will appreciate the easy access to the largest ski resort in Slovakia, Jasná – Chopok (approx. 15 km). Families with children will enjoy attractions such as ZOO Kontakt near Tatralandia or Mini Slovakia in Liptovský Ján with models of famous Slovak monuments. The surroundings are also ideal for hiking, cycling and walks in nature. Cosy atmosphere, traditional wooden design and peaceful surroundings. Comfortable and well equipped, It has a lovely homely feel while still offering all the modern conveniences you would expect. Wonderful Hosts - One of the highlights of our stay was the hosts themselves. They were genuinely lovely people: warm, friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The location is exactly as it is advertised, or even better if I can say, place was neat, with all listed adjustments and equipment. It is a perfect place to visit as a group of people to have private space to spend time together - it is quiet, spacious, and sauna, jacuzzi and playing room are just perfect complementations! Worth noticing that the communication in general and ease of contact with owner are great, always responding fast clarifying or answering the questions!
