The location is situated in the cadastre of the town of Liptovský Mikuláš, specifically in the Zadný Háj area on Háj Nicovô hill. Since 2016, it has operated as the first ecological shotgun shooting range in Slovakia, using exclusively steel shot and biodegradable targets for clay pigeon shooting. Visitors will find nine separate stations where they can shoot with more than 28 types of firearms, including pistols, assault rifles, and shotguns. The entire process takes place under the supervision of certified instructors, allowing individuals without a gun license to try shooting as well. From Bobrovec, you can comfortably reach Bobrovecká dolina on foot, by bicycle, or by car, which you can leave at the free parking lot in Bobrovecká Vápenica. Others can use the bus service, which will take you to the village of Jalovec, approximately 2 km above Bobrovec, and continue your half-day hike on foot.

From the aforementioned Bobrovecká Vápenica, a renovated asphalt road with a gentle incline leads to the waterfall, which is also known as Poľovnícky vodopád or Bobrovecký vodopád. Approximately halfway along the route, at the edge of the forest, the ascent becomes gentler or almost flat. Initially, majestic peaks of the Západné Tatry rise before you, such as Babky or Sivý vrch. Later along the way, you can enjoy nearby meadows, pastures, and, with good visibility, a view of the Vodná nádrž Liptovská Mara.

After about three quarters of an hour, you will arrive at your destination. The waterfall is located less than 100 m from the road. You do not have to worry about missing this natural beauty. In front of the waterfall stands a hunting cabin that welcomes you to this sought-after attraction with its motto "Hore zdar!". The approach to the waterfall has an uphill character, but your reward will be the Stará voda stream falling from a height of 12 m. A small pool has formed beneath the rocky cliff down which the waterfall flows. Although the icy water may initially deter you, believe that after a walk, especially on hot summer days, a quick dip is a great refreshment. The braver ones can enjoy the power of a mountain shower directly under the waterfall. In winter, the swift flow of water turns into a massive icefall. The snow-covered and frozen surrounding nature holds a unique charm. So do not forget to bring a sled for your walk, which you will especially use on the return trip and the gentle descent back to Bobrovecká Vápenica.

Cyclists can continue along a popular cycling route that will take you all the way to the village of Liptovské Matiašovce. Hikers on foot will return along the same route. Halfway between Bobrovecká Vápenica and the village of Bobrovec stands the traditional Salaš Pastierska. Stop for a moment and, in addition to traditional products such as cheeses, bryndza (sheep milk cheese), or žinčica (boiled sheep whey), enjoy the peaceful nature. Right above Bobrovec, you can stop by a small but popular water reservoir. Originally, the reservoir served to irrigate the surrounding fields. The Bejvoč water reservoir, as the locals nickname it, has been used for swimming for a few decades, although bathing is at your own risk. Rich greenery and the murmur of the mountain Jalovecký potok, which is the source of clean and refreshing water in the reservoir, predestine this place for relaxation and rest.

If natural water does not appeal to you and you would rather enjoy thermal springs, visit the most famous water park, Tatralandia, located less than 10 minutes by car from Bobrovec. Vrbické pleso, which adorns the Demänovská dolina, is the largest natural lake in the Nízke Tatry. This body of water at an altitude of 1,113 meters above sea level is of glacial moraine origin and thus resembles tarns in the Vysoké Tatry. At its deepest point, a depth of 8 meters was measured. The lake has been a nature monument since 1975 and is currently protected by the fifth, i.e., highest, level of protection.

The walk starts in the village of Demänovská Dolina at the Jasná - Biela Púť signpost, and it is easy to park nearby. A yellow-marked trail leads from the signpost to the tarn, taking only about 5 minutes to reach it. Around the lake, which measures 115 meters in length and 62 meters in width, runs an undemanding hiking trail. Walking it takes 20 to 60 minutes, depending on your walking pace or how long you sit on the benches and admire the photogenic mountain surroundings. It is an ideal walk for families with children. Information boards inform tourists about the origin of the tarn as well as its fauna. Benches by the lake are a matter of course, and several gazebos stand here as well. A major draw of the mountain resort is also snowtubing, an adrenaline ride on an inflatable tube. It is built in a gentry (zemiansky) style, and all original decorative elements have been preserved. The exhibition itself consists of 230 historical artifacts donated or loaned to the museum by citizens and natives of the village of Párnica. Here, you can visit a countryside room, a barn, and a separate room with period documents, including photographs illustrating life in the village throughout past years. A true gem of the building is a hand-painted chest from 1908. Among the most interesting artifacts is a military trunk with its original contents, a school chronicle, a savings book from Tatra banka from 1940, as well as a historical document from 1943, likely a predecessor of today's prenuptial agreement.

The Medieval Falconry Village is a unique archaeological open-air museum located beneath Oravský hrad, in the village of Oravský Podzámok. Tens of kilometers of slopes, ski lifts, and cable cars on par with the Alps. You definitely shouldn't miss out on such an experience.

A main road leads to Jasná, alongside which there are several large park-and-ride car parks. Each of them is connected to a chairlift, so it doesn't matter where you park. You can enjoy the entire resort from any car park. If you don't feel like going all the way to the top, you can stop in the area called Záhradky.

Get out of the car, put on your ski boots, step into your skis, and head straight to the slopes. Jasná is exceptional because it offers long kilometers of trails of all difficulty levels. If you are an intermediate skier, you will find plenty to enjoy in Záhradky. Alternatively, you can warm up and stretch your muscles here before tackling steeper slopes. In Záhradky, you will mostly find medium-difficulty (red) slopes, but there is also a blue, least demanding trail.

One ski lift and two modern chairlifts lead directly from Záhradky. Equipment with windshield covers protecting against the wind is taken for granted. One of the chairlifts leads to Rovná hoľa, a quieter yet even more beautiful corner of Jasná. The second one takes you directly into the heart of the resort, to Priehyba, at an altitude of 1,342 meters above sea level. This is where the famous funitel funicular/cable car is located, leading all the way to the top of Chopok. From Záhradky, you can reach an elevation of approximately 2,000 meters above sea level with just a single transfer. Another chairlift runs above Záhradky, coming from the previous park-and-ride car park at Lúčky.

If you head from Záhradky to Rovná hoľa, you have a choice of two slopes to ski back down. Intermediate skiers will choose the red one, and beginners the blue one. If that isn't enough for you, you can extend your descent all the way to Lúčky. The cable car to Priehyba is for more demanding skiers. From there, you can return to Záhradky via either two red slopes or one black slope for the most experienced skiers.

Down at the bottom of the slopes, a full range of facilities awaits you: snack bars, a restaurant, a rental shop, a ski school, and a sports clothing store. In short, complete equipment and services. And remember, Záhradky is just an entry point to the resort center, where even more awaits you.
