There are many interesting and still underappreciated places in Hont. In the nearby village of Bzovík you will find a fortified monastery, which is worth a visit in any weather and season. In the village of Čabradský Vrbovok there are the ruins of the Čabraď castle. Several villages in the vicinity offer experiential views through their lookout towers. In the town of Krupina you will find cafes, restaurants, a museum, unique underground passages, the Vartovka watchtower and a swimming pool. There is also a small thermal swimming pool in the region.

Krásna útulná chata, plne vybavená, nebol problém s kúrením ani teplou vodou, všetko fungovalo ako malo :) k dispozícii aj hry pre deti, mystery boxy, Tv, funkčné wifi, ocenili sme aj možnosť zastrielať si zo vzduchovky :) maximálna spokojnosť, určite sa radi vrátime

They were really very kind and helpful. They walked a mile and waited for me because of my late arrival due to some difficulties on my side. Staff is very kind. Breakfast included. Rooms are beautiful and unique. I highly recommend.
