If you are interested in experiencing a unique sightseeing cruise on Liptovská Mara, take advantage of the services of the boat rental and water sports center at Marina Liptov in the village of Bobrovník, Liptovský Mikuláš district. Particularly sought after by tourists is the one-hour sightseeing cruise on the Sun Tracker catamaran. Along the way, the ship's captain will tell you the history of the Liptovská Mara dam and show you the most interesting bays and places. The capacity of the catamaran is suitable for a minimum of 6 adults and a maximum of 12 people, including children. The price per person is 14 EUR/hour, for a child under 12 years 8 EUR/hour, and children under 3 years enjoy the cruise for free.
Sightseeing cruises operate daily from July 1 to August 31. Planned departures are on every odd hour starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM. Outside the summer season, sightseeing cruises are by reservation only. You can also book a private cruise between May 1 and October 31 (depending on weather and water level conditions) at a price of 120 EUR/hour.
