The slope is regularly maintained, and artificial snowmaking is a matter of course. It is equipped with artificial lighting, so you can start looking forward to night skiing. At the end of Biela púť, there is an interesting attraction, Twinliner. It is a kind of train that functions just like an elevator. Its carriage can hold up to 50 skiers and will transport you directly to the funitel, the cable car leading to the peak of Chopok. The cave is unique due to its ice decoration. Intriguingly, just 500 years ago, it was a regular dripstone cave. After the collapse of certain passages and the prevention of air circulation, conditions were created in the cave for the formation of ice. In 1885, a shelter was built near the cave, and the first tourists began visiting it. However, it was not heavily visited; the years 1950–1952 were more significant, when electric lighting was installed. During these years, concerns grew over preserving the ice cover, as the reconstruction damaged the cave and air began circulating inside again. This threatened to melt the ice sheet. Fortunately, the issues were resolved.

An educational trail with interesting information boards leads to the cave. Right before entering the cave, you will become acquainted with the Nízke Tatry National Park and its flora and fauna. The tour route inside the cave is 650 meters long with an elevation gain of 48 m. The tour will take you three quarters of an hour. Dress warmly, due to the ice decoration, the temperature inside stays just above freezing year-round. If you can brave the cold, the cave will reward you with an unprecedented spectacle. Underground, you will admire stalactites and stalagmites, as well as floor ice and ice pillars, which are at their most massive during the spring months.

Eight species of bats have been recorded in the cave. The discovery of bones belonging to the cave bear and other vertebrates proves that it was sought after by animals even in the distant past.

Vrbické pleso, which adorns the Demänovská dolina, is the largest natural lake in the Nízke Tatry. This body of water at an altitude of 1,113 meters above sea level is of glacial moraine origin and thus resembles tarns in the Vysoké Tatry. At its deepest point, a depth of 8 meters was measured. The lake has been a nature monument since 1975 and is currently protected by the fifth, i.e., highest, level of protection.

The walk starts in the village of Demänovská Dolina at the Jasná - Biela Púť signpost, and it is easy to park nearby. A yellow-marked trail leads from the signpost to the tarn, taking only about 5 minutes to reach it. Around the lake, which measures 115 meters in length and 62 meters in width, runs an undemanding hiking trail. Walking it takes 20 to 60 minutes, depending on your walking pace or how long you sit on the benches and admire the photogenic mountain surroundings. It is an ideal walk for families with children. Information boards inform tourists about the origin of the tarn as well as its fauna. Benches by the lake are a matter of course, and several gazebos stand here as well. A main road leads to Jasná, alongside which there are several large park-and-ride car parks. Each of them is connected to a chairlift, so it doesn't matter where you park. You can enjoy the entire resort from any car park. If you don't feel like going all the way to the top, you can stop in the area called Záhradky.

Get out of the car, put on your ski boots, step into your skis, and head straight to the slopes. Jasná is exceptional because it offers long kilometers of trails of all difficulty levels. If you are an intermediate skier, you will find plenty to enjoy in Záhradky. Alternatively, you can warm up and stretch your muscles here before tackling steeper slopes. In Záhradky, you will mostly find medium-difficulty (red) slopes, but there is also a blue, least demanding trail.

One ski lift and two modern chairlifts lead directly from Záhradky. Equipment with windshield covers protecting against the wind is taken for granted. One of the chairlifts leads to Rovná hoľa, a quieter yet even more beautiful corner of Jasná. The second one takes you directly into the heart of the resort, to Priehyba, at an altitude of 1,342 meters above sea level. This is where the famous funitel funicular/cable car is located, leading all the way to the top of Chopok. From Záhradky, you can reach an elevation of approximately 2,000 meters above sea level with just a single transfer. Another chairlift runs above Záhradky, coming from the previous park-and-ride car park at Lúčky.

If you head from Záhradky to Rovná hoľa, you have a choice of two slopes to ski back down. Intermediate skiers will choose the red one, and beginners the blue one. If that isn't enough for you, you can extend your descent all the way to Lúčky. The cable car to Priehyba is for more demanding skiers. From there, you can return to Záhradky via either two red slopes or one black slope for the most experienced skiers.

Down at the bottom of the slopes, a full range of facilities awaits you: snack bars, a restaurant, a rental shop, a ski school, and a sports clothing store. In short, complete equipment and services. And remember, Záhradky is just an entry point to the resort center, where even more awaits you.

Jasná is the largest ski resort for miles around. But if you think a beginner skier won't find a place to ski here, you are mistaken. It offers something for everyone. For professionals, freeriders, ski mountaineers, intermediate skiers, but also for beginner skiers and families with small children. If you belong to the last category, pay attention.

A short distance from the ticket office where you buy your passes, there is a modern and beautiful hotel. In front of it stands the valley station of the cable car. It will certainly catch your eye immediately upon arrival; its black and orange design is simply unmistakable. And it is thanks to it that you will discover the high-quality slopes of Otupné.

The cable car will comfortably take you from an altitude of 1,141 meters above sea level to nearly 300 meters higher, where an approximately 2 km long slope begins. The cable car, named after the adjacent hotel, Grandjet, is fast, comfortable, and thanks to the orange glass, you will feel like it is beautifully sunny outside. Even when it is cloudy.

The slope from Brhliská to Otupné is marked in blue, so it is suitable for beginners or children. It is sufficiently wide, and you do not have to worry about the safety of your little one. A few meters of the slope are red, of intermediate difficulty, but this section can be bypassed by a gentler slope. Moreover, you will find ski schools in the resort, and if you do not dare to go alone, you can head to Otupné with an experienced instructor.

In addition to the modern cable car, you will also find short lifts here. They come in handy when you don't want to return all the way down to the parking lots. At Otupné, there is a unique view of the massive rocky ridge of the Nízke Tatry mountains, the Chopok peak itself, and, of course, the Derešský kotol basin.

Until now, it may have seemed that if you are a more experienced skier, you have no reason to go to Otupné. Wrong. The first reason is the breathtaking natural scenery all around, and the second is the local Snowpark. It is the real deal for adrenaline seekers. You will find high snow ramps, jumps, rails, and various obstacles here. From small jumps for beginners to several-meter-long jumps for the best. If "freeride" is your middle name, you will let loose like a small child at Otupné.

Jasná offers slopes for every group of skiers, and Otupné is an example of this. It is focused mainly on beginners and absolute extremists who love adrenaline. Are you in one of these groups? On the 1000 m long track, you will encounter twelve bends, two ramps, and six terrain jumps. However, the bobsled ride is completely safe and suitable for children from seven years of age. Younger children can ride together with a parent or another adult. The maximum weight capacity of a bobsled is 120 kg.

It was originally built in 1693 in Paludza, but between 1974 and 1982 it was relocated to Svätý Kríž, where a ceremonial consecration subsequently took place in August 1982. The church in Svätý Kríž is the final artistic expression of Slovak wooden architecture, and it is no exaggeration to write that it is likely also the most significant. In the interior, you will be immediately captivated by the wooden Baroque altar dating from 1693, featuring a painting of the Transfiguration of Christ. The pulpit is also considered unique, standing on a log base right next to a Baroque angel that appears to support it. Both of these gems, the altar and the pulpit, are the work of the Kežmarok woodcarver J. Lerch.

The extraordinary atmosphere of the place is complemented by the ceiling. Two-story choir galleries decorated with biblical paintings, along with a Venetian glass chandelier, create perfect harmony and fit flawlessly into the church's interior. The organ and a stone baptismal font are additional indispensable parts of the interior. In the exterior, an inseparable pair with the church is formed by the belfry, consisting of a freestanding wooden tower. It was added only later, in 1781. New bells were installed in the tower between 1921 and 1922.

You can reach the top of Háj along the paved Cesta generála R. Kunu road, which is also known as Cesta hrdinov. Passanger cars and bicycles are permitted on it, but you will also find pedestrians and often mothers with strollers there. In winter, the road is not maintained. However, a forest route via the Príroda a krajina educational trail, which copies the Vojenská história trail, is very popular among locals. The Príroda a krajina educational trail is 1.3 km long, has an elevation gain of 140 m, and is marked with a green hiking trail marker. The ascent to Háj via this trail represents a walk along a deep-sea floor. More than 45 million years ago, Liptov was submerged under the sea, as evidenced by various fossils. In the insect hotel, you can admire the fascinating world of insects; however, on the way to it, you will first pass through a mixed forest with a rare specimen, a black poplar that is over 100 years old. The end of the trail is a sweet finishing touch, as there are stairs of time located there. They show a cross-section of the geological bedrock of the Liptovská kotlina basin, going back to 460 million years ago.

The Vojenská história educational trail is 0.47 km long and is a flat walk along a red hiking trail marker. Educational boards inform about troops and weapons, as well as the subsequent restoration of the devastated territory, as bloody battles of World War II took place here. The memorial area, to which the educational trail leads, was made accessible in 1961 along with the memorial and cemetery. It is the final resting place of battle victims, and since 2018, it has also served as a Pomník novodobým vojnovým veteránom (Monument to Modern War Veterans).
