Cottage Prameň

Cottage Pramen is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Slovak Paradise National Park, right in the forest in the heart of Čingov. It belongs to the cadastral area of the village Smižany and is situated near the Hornád River, offering opportunities for fishing and rafting.

We offer accommodation in a private cottage with a total capacity of 8 beds (seven beds available, the eighth bed upon request). The cottage is heated by electricity and a fireplace and is habitable all year round. We primarily welcome families with children, hikers, and groups seeking a quiet retreat in the peaceful setting of Slovenský raj.

The layout and equipment of the cottage are designed for smaller groups. There is a spacious living room with seating, a satellite TV, a fireplace, and a sofa bed that can be used for sleeping if needed. Guests can also use a dining hall with seating, a fridge, and a fully equipped kitchen (gas stove, electric oven, microwave, and electric kettle). The cottage includes a bathroom with a shower and sink, as well as a separate toilet.

For a good night's sleep, we have prepared 3 bedrooms. One is a walk-through double room with a double bed, seating area, private balcony and terrace, and a separate entrance. Another bedroom has two single beds (which can be joined into a double bed) and the option of adding a third bed upon request. The last bedroom has three single beds, which can also be rearranged as needed.

Guests are asked to wear slippers inside the cottage and smoking is only allowed in designated areas (balcony, terraces). Sports equipment (skis and bikes) can be stored in a utility room. You can relax on the terrace with seating or on the balcony with a nice view. The cottage also features an outdoor seating area with a grill and a fire pit. Parking is available directly at the cottage.

From the cottage, you can go on hikes directly into the gorges of Slovenský raj (Tomášovský výhľad, Kláštorisko, Sokolia dolina, Prielom Hornádu, etc.). In the surrounding area, you’ll find excellent conditions for skiing, exploring historical and cultural sights of the Spiš region, and swimming in thermal waters in Vrbov or at Aquacity Poprad.
