Chalúpka Slnečnica offers a romantic getaway for two in a secluded location in Slovakia, overlooking the Low Tatras. It is an ideal place to celebrate an anniversary, an engagement or a honeymoon.

The entire detached cottage, private sauna and hot bathing tub are exclusively yours throughout your stay. Unlimited access to the private wellness facilities is included in the accommodation price. We can also arrange personalised romantic decorations for an additional fee, subject to prior agreement. A little surprise, a bottle of wine and something sweet will be waiting to welcome you.

The air-conditioned cottage is designed for 2 guests. On the ground floor, you will find a cosy living room with beautiful panoramic views of the Low Tatras. It features a comfortable sofa, a TV with streaming services, board games and books – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The living room connects to a practical kitchenette equipped with a ceramic hob, electric kettle, refrigerator and dining area. There is also a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Upstairs, you will find a romantic bedroom with a double bed and views of Ďumbier and Chopok.

Free WiFi is available throughout your stay. Outside, you can enjoy a seating area, sun loungers, a fire pit and a garden swing – ideal for peaceful evenings. However, the cottage's greatest highlight is its private wellness area, which is exclusively yours for the entire stay. Unlimited use of the private sauna and hot bathing tub is included in the accommodation price. The cottage is accessible by road, and parking is available directly next to the property.

The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for excursions. We recommend a ride on the Čiernohronská Railway, a visit to the Vydrovo Forestry Open-Air Museum, horse riding at Ajax Farm, exploring the underground wonders of Bystrianska Cave or visiting the Horehronie Museum in Brezno. The Metallurgical Open-Air Museum at Skalka is also worth a visit. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at Gray Bear Tále or try disc golf in Krpáčovo. In summer, you can go swimming at the Tále Natural Swimming Pool or in Podbrezová. In winter, we recommend skiing at Mýto Ski & Bike, Ski Tále, Ski Čierny Balog, Čertovica or Chopok Juh – Trangoška.
