The difficulty of the slopes is designed very reasonably, with the easiest blue and moderately difficult red trails in approximate balance. On the longest slope, you will enjoy a descent approximately 2 kilometers long, which will delight even more demanding skiers. Artificial snowmaking is a matter of course, even though just a few years ago, "Martinky" had to make do with only natural snow.

A snowboard park, buffets, and bars are also available to you here, where you can warm up with a good grog. We repeatedly draw your attention to the beautiful nature. You will see two-meter-high snowdrifts and trees laden with heaps of snow—just like in old films—only in a few places these days. At Martinské hole, it is a common phenomenon.

Transport accessibility, beautiful nature, and excellent skiing conditions are the main advantages of the resort. You will certainly want to spend more days here and discover not only the official slopes but also the beautifully hidden terrain. Therefore, set aside several days that you can spend in one of the many cottages directly by the slopes. Mountain hotel, guest house, tourist hostel, or private lodging—it does not matter what you choose; as long as you have good company, you are guaranteed not to be bored. Martinské hole simply will not allow it.

The Snowland tourism resort in Valčianska dolina near Martin (approximately 12.5 km) is an interesting and suitable location for spending leisure time in the beautiful environment of the Malá Fatra mountains, specifically in its Lúčanská part. A fast-food buffet is part of the area, and restaurant facilities of the Snowland resort are located in the immediate vicinity.

Who is the place suitable for?

The place is intended primarily for families with children aged 2 to 12, who will find a wide range of activities adapted to their age and motor skills here. It is also sought after by school trips and camps as a safe place for collective games in nature. Given the mountain environment, sports clothing is recommended, and sun protection is advised during sunny days, as most of the attractions are located in open, unshaded areas.

What can you visit in the surroundings?

Directly in the Snowland resort, you can use cycle paths leading through the entire Valčianska dolina or play golf at the local Golf Park Rajec. You can visit the nearby manor house in Blatnica or go on a hike to the picturesque Gaderská dolina valley, which belongs to the most beautiful ones in Malá Fatra. The historic town of Martin with the Múzeum slovenskej dediny (open-air museum) or the spa town of Turčianske Teplice are also within a short driving distance.
