The Jazdecký areál Budička equestrian area is located in the small village of Tŕnie, just 14 km from Zvolen. You can find it in the tiny settlement of Budička, where time passes more slowly and one can slow down from the rushed pace of life. The riding school offers its visitors various forms of contact with horses and ponies. The smallest children can enjoy a pony ride. A "riding preparation course" is designed for children aged 3 to 7. Children learn to sit independently on a horse, practice their balance, and can also groom and feed the horse.
Systematic riding training focuses on gradually introducing the basics of riding and the principles of horse control. It is intended for children from 7 years of age. Children gradually learn to lead the horse in walk, trot, and canter, as well as overcome obstacles. Advanced riders can sign up for specialized riding training focused on dressage or show jumping.
Additional services include hippotherapy, therapeutic exercise with the help of horses. Certified instructors work not only with children, but also with adults. This therapeutic treatment brings great results for children with autism, hyperactivity, attention and behavioral disorders, as well as children and adults with scoliosis. The greatest benefit of this therapy is contact with a living animal, its warmth, emotions, and movement.
